Meet Slim and some of the band.

Illinois SlimIllinois Slim grew up on the West Side of Chicago. During hard times the family did like most of the poor Chicago residents. They occasionally went down to "Maxwell Street" The trip, usually on a Sunday, meant that you could catch a bargain, eat one of those famous polish sausage sandwiches and maybe catch some guys playing some good raw blues on the sidewalk. Those trips would make being poor not quite so bad. That upbringing and roots to family roots in Mississippi and Arkansas is where the music comes from.

I believe he is destined for a great career in blues".
